Some pictures from Norway's Constitution Day last month which I never got around to posting.
The better half of the day was spent with my family, parading around Oslo with thousands of other people.
My little sister put on her bunad - which is pretty much traditional Norwegian clothing and the Norwegian equivalent to the German dirndl
...whilst my sister and I got dolled up in A. Wang.
My sister in her inverted pleat dress and I in the matching skirt.

Mummy dearest looking fab
An adorable little girl and her mummy wearing chic black bunads.

Thought this blue one was adorable too.
Men's equivalent to a laderhosen.
And all was swell until it started raining.
It turns out a dress and skirt of neoprene was highly appropriate for the occasion due to its relatively water resistant nature.
Mum, on the other hand, got soaked.
And the Instagrams..
